An unusual 19th Century T shape nipple key or wrench with iron screw off caps which would originally have been used for storing nipples. This is the first all iron example I have seen. Good condition with some staining and pitting. Would probably clean up a bit. |

A rare gamekeepers signal horn for starting the beaters (as advertised in the 1912 Westley Richards catalogue). It has two different notes, presumably one to start and one to warn the guns or halt the beaters. Makers details are shown on one side with the other side marked THE KOHLER SIGNAL HORN The knob on top of the valve is missing but otherwise good condition. |

A rare and very high quality ebony and ivory mounted set of gun accessories for a cased pinfire pistol. They include cleaning rod, oil bottle, powder measure and two tools which I think are for capping the cartridges. Excellent condition. The small tool for inserting the caps inside the cartridge has a central steel or iron rod which is seized and needs to be carefully freed. |
