A rare gamekeepers signal horn for starting the beaters (as advertised in the 1912 Westley Richards catalogue). It has two different notes, presumably one to start and one to warn the guns or halt the beaters. An unusual Victorian leather cartridge magazine for 9mm pinfire cartridges. The magazine is double ended and holds 24 cartridges at each end. Between the two cartridge magazines is a tin box which pulls out from one side presumably for containing accessories. A rare and very high quality ebony and ivory mounted set of gun accessories for a cased pinfire pistol. They include cleaning rod, oil bottle, powder measure and two tools which I think are for capping the cartridges. Excellent condition.
